ok, the only singing i do is when im around the house..by myself. to be honest, i dont think im too too good. like, i cant hit high notes like the ones in paparazzi, or low ones like in symphonies by dan black. also, i dont just want a good singing voice, i want one with a nice tone and smoothness to it. im in love with lady gaga’s voice, its so strong but i has a smoothness to it at times. another voice im in love with is dan black’s voice, or even liz lee.. and no, my mom cant afford singing lessons either 
any singers here that can help? any tips?
You can try some of the FREE singing lessons at You Tube.a lot of them are not very good but this lady is excellent and if you do what she asks you to do, you will sing much better. You will notice that she has several lessons here at Tou Tube so, try to learn one and practice it for a few days and then learn another one and practice it and see if you don’t start sounding better.
One thing you should always remember is that there were many very successful singers over the years who really did not have very good singing voices. Rod Stewart, Janice Joplin, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Louis Armstrong all had very poor sounding voices but, they were truly great performers. When it comes to choosing between a pretty voice and a singer that can really perform well on stage, the audience will chose the performer over the singer every time.
Good luck to you. The world will always need great performing singers regardless of their voice quality so, if you want to succeed in music, you can do it if you first prepare yourself by learning how to sing correctly and how to perform on stage.

My dad wants a "cool" ringtone on his iPhone. On my iPhone I have all the essential ring-tones, or course… Britney, Paris, Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz, etc. But my dad is not 18 and obviously not into this kind of music. He loves the Beatles, but doesn’t want a Beatles ring-tone… because he says he doesn’t want to seem old. He has a pretty young girlfriend, so I think he wants to seem really hip and cool.
