The  FGAGA Sport Foundation is source of funding exclusively for girls and women to participate in sports.

Since 2002 the Future Generation African Girls Association has been the nation's leading voice promoting sports and equality for women and girls in the Ethiopian American Society.

FGAGA has spent over $20,000 in an effort to sponsor the first Ethiopian Girls soccer team in the Ethiopian Sport Federation North America (ESFNA) FGAGA, and cover the expenses of 46 people making the trip to Seattle.

All efforts to get a girls team in all-male tournament so far have been unsuccessful.

The last 25 years , there are 27 men's teams and no women's teams.  Furthermore, the organization's board members consist of all men.
